Where Stories Heal.
At Phoenix Rise Productions, theatre isn’t just entertainment — it’s a pathway to restoration. Here, stories crack open truth, make room for emotion, and remind us that healing begins the moment we are seen.

About the Movement
Storytelling With Purpose.
Phoenix Rise Productions was born from a simple truth:
when we name the pain, we give ourselves permission to heal.
We create original stage plays rooted in mental health, generational trauma, and emotional resilience. Our work offers audiences a mirror — a place to feel, to reckon, and to rise. Every production is crafted with honesty, artistry, and deep compassion for the communities we serve.
THE WORK WE DO
What We Create. Who We Heal. Why We Rise.
Original Stage Plays
Bold, vulnerable productions that reflect real-life struggles and inspire audiences to process emotion through art.
Community Partnerships
Workshops, talkbacks, and healing-centered experiences created with mental health professionals and community leaders.
Artist Development
A commitment to uplifting new voices — especially those silenced, overlooked, or erased in traditional theatre spaces.

Meet the Founder
The heartbeat behind the healing.
Phoenix Bell is a storyteller, advocate, and visionary who believes deeply in the power of naming our wounds. After navigating emotional trauma and mental health struggles, Phoenix found refuge in theatre — a place where truth could be spoken and healing could begin.
Her work is shaped by lived experience, spiritual depth, and a fierce commitment to the communities they serve. Phoenix created this company for those who have been silenced, overlooked, or taught to carry pain alone.
Phoenix Bell is a University City, MO native, writer, poet, educator, and playwright known for blending truth, healing, and transformation through storytelling. Her creative journey began at 13 when a gift from her Uncle Gerald—I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings—awakened her voice and passion for words. Since then, Phoenix has become a powerful force in theatre, writing and producing works like Respect My Shoes, Black Magic Moments, 50 Shades of Pink, and Enigma: A Family Bound by Secrets.
With roots in education and mental health advocacy, Phoenix’s work mirrors real life—inviting reflection, emotional honesty, and liberation. Her company, Phoenix Rise Productions, produces original stories that speak to identity, womanhood, and generational healing. Whether in a theatre, classroom, or community space, Phoenix uses the arts as a pathway to truth and revival.
